Today's gospel 
Matthew 9:27-31 

This text presents us with two blind men who came to Jesus asking to have their eyes restored. This is indeed Great Faith as the blind men recognize  "Jesus as the "Son of David", "Jesus as Messiah. They said, 
*have mercy on us*. They cry out for healing and compassion. And Jesus asked them, *do you believe you can?*

We can turn the question to ourselves, Jesus is  asking us today, "Do you believe?" May we have faith in Jesus, that He can restore things for us, even our spiritual sight. We believe that healing comes through faith. Jesus brings physical and spiritual sight. The healed men praised Jesus. May we be grateful to God for healing powers and for other blessings we receive daily.

Let us pray

Heavenly Father,  we bring our needs and blindness to You. We trust in Your power and mercy.
Lord, open our eyes to see Your glory and power.

Matthew 7: 21-27

 *Reflection*
While "you can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all the time," you can never fool the Lord at any time! False teachers may deceive other people, but never the Lord. Substituting proclamations of faith for a life of faith won't cut it. Substituting mighty acts in Jesus' name for living a life of righteousness won't cut it either. Deception, sham, falsehood, manipulation, and hype are works of the evil one and will be handled as such by the conquering Savior. So let's be among"those who actually do the will of [the] Father in heaven."

 *Prayer*
Holy Lord, I want to follow you: not just in talk, but also in deed. Almighty Lord, I want to reflect your character: not just in Bible study, but also in daily lifestyle. I want to know you by knowing your character, service, and righteousness through living them in my life. In the name of your holy Son, I pray.

Mathew 15 v 29 to 39.

This reading we shall call the day of miracles and compassion because it was from bodily healing, spiritual healing and feeding the 4000 
from a few loaves of bread and fish.
WOW...WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD. 

So, let's take Jesus' lead and be kind and giving as he was and also wants us to be. 

Let us pray.

Father God we come before you today for guidance and protection. We pray for you to lead us in all that we do. Teach us to be reliant on you in all that we do.
Father God, you are our ROCK and FORTRESS our protector.

Reflection 
In this Gospel Jesus is filled with joy in the Holly Spirit . We often imagen Jesus as calm, sorrowful, serious but here we see Him rejoicing praising the Father for revealing the devine truth, not to the wise and learned but to the humble,the childlike. Those who come before God without pretence.those who are willing to trust and led.

Let us pray 
Father may this Gospel open our eyes to the blessings that shows that you are near revealing Yourself to us .

John 1 v 35 to 42.

This reading is the start of Jesus' serious ministry in the recruitment of the disciples. So, we will call it "come and see".
SO WE ALSO NEED TO COME AND SEE..... This gesture will change our lives totally because Jesus is the WAY...the TRUTH and the LIFE....so let's devote and dedicate our time to the lamb of GOD.

Father God, we thank you for the gift of life. As we begin today, we pray for your presence in our lives. Thank you for your love, wisdom and protection daily.

 *Luke 21: 34-36*

 *Reflection*
Jesus repeatedly warned his disciples during the latter part of his ministry to keep alert and be ready for his return. But what does being ready mean? Does it mean knowing the exact time of his return - the day or the hour? No, we can't know when he will return. [1] So what does it mean? It means to live with faithful vigilance, expectation, and hope for Jesus' return. He stands near and can return at any time.

 *Prayer*
Father, I thank You for this warning to be vigilant. I pray that You will help me to be mindful of the distractions of life—the worries, the pleasures, and the drunkenness—that weigh down the heart. Grant me strength to stay alert at all times, and give me the grace to escape all the things that are coming, so that I may one day stand confidently before Your Son. In Jesus' name,

Today's gospel 
Mathew 11 25 to 27.

We shall call this reading being humble and receptive. In this passage we see the unique relationship between Father and Son, emphasizing that we can only know the Father through the Son (Jesus). So, through being humble, we receive a teachable spirit like a child. We need to remember that God chooses to reveal Himself and truths in His way and time. 

Here, we also see the close and intimate relationship between God the Father and Jesus the Son. This closeness indicates to us that if we want this relationship as well,  we need to be humble. Lastly, we need to understand that only through Jesus will the Father's power be revealed to us.

Let us pray.

Father God, we thank you for revealing yourself to us. We thank you for guiding us in our daily lives. We ask that you give us a discerning heart and mind. We pray that you make us compassionate to people's needs. 
Lead and guide us. We pray in Jesus' Mighty Name.

Reflection 
The Gospel emphasizes that while all judgment is severe the consequences for those who reject God's truth, dispute greater knowledge will be more severe than for those who live in ignorence.
But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgement than for you.

Lord open our eyes and our hearts to the signs of your grace around us . Help us to hear your message in Jesus name

Today's gospel 
Matthew 10:34 - 11:1

Jesus says, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword" (Mt 10:34). Here, Jesus warns that His message brings misunderstanding or  division, even within families (oppositions/against). Following Jesus requires prioritizing Him above all else, be it family or personal relationships.

There's peace that comes from following Jesus, even in the midst of conflict. We must prioritize our relationship with God above all else, and that peace will be within us. We are called to be faithful in our relationships and in our service to others. Let us look for opportunities to serve others and be faithful in our discipleship and  relationships. May we trust that God has a plan, even in the midst of difficulties. May He see us through in any situation of life. 

Let us pray 

Lord Jesus Christ,  we are Your disciples, prepare us  to face challenges as we minister in society. Help us to trust that Your Spirit is with us in all our trials. Help us to prioritize our relationship with You and be faithful in our service to others.

Today's gospel 
 *Matthew 10: 16-23*

 *Reflection*
After introducing us to the reality that not everyone will accept the Good News message of the Kingdom, Jesus now prepares us for how difficult that rejection will be. There will be some who have a benign attitude that ignores the message. But others will have a malignant and vengeful attitude toward the Good News and those who share it. How vicious? Jesus' followers will be like sheep hunted by a den of wolves (Matthew 10:16). In such circumstances, two qualities are not only essential; they are commanded. First, Jesus' followers are to be bright, insightful, strategic, smart, clever, and wise. In other words, we won't stupidly muddle through when opposed. We do not want to bring unnecessary shame or hardship on ourselves, the cause of Christ, or Jesus' people. Second, even if we are hounded, criticized, and despised, let's make sure we are a people of character, peace, and purity. Clearly the apostle Peter got the message, because a reading of 1 Peter teaches us how to practically live out what Jesus teaches here: purity and prudence in a hostile world in which we live as witnesses to Jesus Christ and his Kingdom.

Give me wisdom, please dear God, to face those who despise your name, your cause, your message, and your people. Help me not to become hateful toward them like those who hate me and your cause. Instead, create in me a pure and loving heart that I might know and live your ways in witness to those who do not know you. In Jesus' name, I pray. *Amen* .]]>
