31.03.25 Today's gospel John 4:43-54 The nobleman requests Jesus to heal his dying son. Jesus' initial response is that the Galileans are seeking signs and wonders, but He will not be swayed by their demands. The nobleman returns home. He finds that his son was healed at the exact time Jesus said he would be alive. The entire household trusted Jesus' words, promises and authority. We need to believe in Jesus' ability to heal the physical ailments, spiritual and emotional wounds. Jesus returned to his hometown and visited Cana where he did his first miracle. That happened after He had highlighted that "A prophet has no honour in his own time". This time, the Galalians welcomed Him since they had seen what He did in Jerusalem during Passover Festival. Let us pray God our Father, thank you for Jesus, the Healer of body and soul. Help us to trust in His healing power and authority, and to believe in His words and promises. Lord open our eyes so that we may see the signs and wonders of Your splendor. Strengthen our faith so that we may find healing in Your Words. Amen. ReplyForward
