Today's gospel 
John 5 v 19 to 30.

Short and sweet message on the text. Jesus asserts His equality with God the Father, stating that He can do nothing on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing, and that Father God has given Him TOTAL authority to JUDGE and GRANT eternal life to those that BELIEVE. 

Let us pray.

Father God, we come before You acknowledging the authority You have given to Your Son Jesus Christ. Just like Jesus, may we also seek and do Your will. May we live in the hope of eternal life, which is our faith in Jesus. We pray for guidance, wisdom and strength in Jesus' Mighty Name.
