26/3/25 Today's gospel Mathew 5 v17 to 20. Here, Jesus makes it clear that He did not come to abolish the law or the prophets. He explains that He did not come to dismantle the Jewish laws and traditions but to bring them to purpose and meaning. Ultimately, He tells us that if we are complacent like the Scribes and Pharisees, we will not be granted entry into the Kingdom of heaven. So we need to have a heart, mind and attitude dedicated to Jesus for God's grace and mercy. Let us pray. LORD, we come before you seeking for understand of your teachings, grant us the grace to strive for righteousness, that surpasses the Pharisees and the Scribes, a righteousness that is built on faith in Jesus and a life of obedience to your will. Amen.
