Today's gospel 
John 7 v 14 to 30

This reading is during the feast of the tabernacles, a Jewish religious festival. Here, Jesus tells us that His knowledge and teachings are not of Him but from God. 
Here, He is also judged by the people and religious leaders. The sad part is that only a few people know who he is, while the majority are reject him. Jesus stood firm, declaring that he is from God. We also need to stand firm and declare that Jesus Christ is our King and Savior. 

Let us pray 

Father God, help us to seek the truth, guide us to discern your will, and live in accordance with Your Word. Teach us to be committed to the truth. In Jesus' Mighty Name, we pray.
