  Luke chap 24...verses 13 to 35.
                                       
The road to Emmaus scripture teaches us that Jesus appears to us when we least expect it..even when we do not recognize him. He is with us..guiding us and showing us the way.
It also teaches us that the breaking of bread is an important part of our faith.
We remember Jesus through the sacrament of communion, and we also share his love by breaking bread with our family in Christ.
Remember no matter how bleak things may seem...there is always hope even when we don't understand everything...we can trust that God has a plan for us. 
Bottom line...the road to Emmaus is a powerful story that teaches us about Jesus' love for us and the importance of faith. Hope and love.

LORD Jesus, we thank you for your faith in us. Guiding and showing us the way in all that we do.
