FEAST OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
Luke 11:27-28

A woman in the crowd praises Jesus' mother. Jesus responds by saying, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it"

The woman assumes that Jesus' mother is blessed because of her physical relationship with Him. But Jesus corrects her, saying that true blessing comes from hearing and obeying God's Word.

Let us pray 

Lord God, help us to hear Your Word and understand it. May we apply it to our lives. May we obey, trust, and surrender to Your will, just as Mary did.
