Today's gospel 
John 20 v24to28

This reading is summed up in the nickname "doubting Thomas. "
Here Thomas was not present when Jesus entered through a locked door and proved to the other disciples that he was alive. 
Here Thomas makes an exaggerated claim for proof of Jesus being alive.
Thomas after seeing Jesus and having proof he was...he became a strong supporter of the gospel and Christ.
So let us believe in Christ with truth and conviction.

Let us pray 

Lord Jesus, we thank you for the proof in your word that you are indeed alive and rose from the dead.
We thank you for this, that through it we have everlasting life.
