Today's gospel 
Mathew 8 1-4

This reading shows us who God is by touching the untouchable and loving those who were feared and rejected.

This shows us that Jesus is more than just a man. He could heal and cleanse a man with leprosy, so He can clean and heal us from sin.
So, in this healing, Jesus did not only heal the man but also restored his dignity and place in society again. Jesus heals us.

Let us pray.

Father God, please teach us to have faith and humility.
Father touch us and our loved ones and deliver us from every kind of destruction in Jesus' mighty name we pray.
