Today's gospel 
Mathew 9v 9to13

In this reading the mercy of Jesus covers our sins and faults.
Remember that we are not perfect, it sees beyond what we do to what and who we are. We all need the mercy of God for our sins, faults and  failings.
Finally Jesus tells us that he wants us to be merciful towards other people. In other words to pray for them and not to condemn them.

Let us pray 

Father God give us a heart of concern for those around us who are lost. Use us as an instrument to give them hope and to lead them to you.
In Jesus Mighty name we pray,
