Today's gospel Matthew 5:1-12

The Beatitudes describe a life shaped by God's Kingdom, contrasting with worldly values. They demonstrate the transformative power of God's grace.

We need to cultivate a humble and dependent spirit, as we seek justice and righteousness in all aspects of life. We must demonstrate compassion and kindness to others. We have to work towards reconciliation and peace in our relationships.

Let us pray 

Almighty God, grant us humility and a deep dependence on  You so that we can seek Your guidance and strength.

Lord, comfort those who grieve and give them hope. May Your presence bring peace and healing to them.

Heavenly Father, give us a passion for justice and peace. Guide us to stand for what is right and to seek Your wisdom.
Help us to show compassion and kindness to others, just as You have shown mercy to us. May Your love flow through us, as we follow Your Son Jesus Christ. Number us among the *blessed ones* .
