Today's gospel 
John 15 v 12 to 17.

We may call this  this reading "the Vine and the Banches." Jesus keeps on commanding us to demonstrate our love towards each other. This command is amazing,  because it is FREE...it costs us nothing to do this. It's like a free pass into heaven.
Remember, Jesus tells us that he did not chose us for salvation but he chose us for a purpose.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus Christ,  please fill us with your love and compassion so that we may show your grace, mercy, love and kindness to those around us. 
Help us to view them through your eyes and to treat them with dignity and respect.
We humbly pray.
Amen.
