Today's gospel 
John 15 v 12 to 17

Let's call this reading HE CHOSE US. Is that not a wonderful way of showing His love for us?.  Let us focus on the command " to love one another."
This is a challenge/command that God has given us. He wants to be mature and become a better person. Remember that through God, all things are possible and it is also a direct instruction from Jesus. So, from this day foreword, let's make it our credo to love one another as He loves us. This brings to mind the hymn, 'what a friend we have in Jesus.'

Let us pray.

Father God, teach us to focus on your command to love one another as Jesus has loved us. Teach us to bear fruit in your MIGHTY NAME.
