Today's gospel 
Matthew 5:38-42

Here, Jesus teaches us to respond to evil with love and kindness, instead of retaliation. We are called to go beyond what is expected, showing generosity and sacrificial love.
Love and forgiveness have the power to transform relationships and situations we may find ourselves in.

Jesus' teaching challenges our natural instinct to retaliate. By choosing to love and forgive, we demonstrate God's transformative power and love.

Let us pray 

Our Heavenly Father, help us to respond to evil with love, kindness, and generosity, trusting in Your and transformative power. Help us to go beyond mere legalistic interpretations and instead respond with kindness. We humbly pray in Jesus Christ. Amen.
