Today's gospel 
Mathew 8 v1 to 4.

Let's call this reading the plea  compassion and action.This passage highlights Jesus' authority over diseases and his compassion for the outcast (leper).
Here, we see that Jesus came to fulfill the law and not abolish it. The healing is a powerful sign of the Kingdom of God opening up to the world, offering hope and restoration to His Kingdom.

Let us pray.

Father God, we pray to you today to have faith like the leper, for healing. We pray for the faith of spiritual growth and healing. We give praise and gratitude to Jesus for His love, mercy, compassion and grace that we come before Him and be healed of our infirmities.
Amen.
