12.06.25 Today's gospel *Matthew 5: 20-26* *Reflection* The Gospel is telling us to love our brothers and sisters as we love ourselves and to realize that we are only humans prone to mistakes and errors thus, worthy of forgiveness, understanding, and love. We should eliminate the spirit of hatred, envy, and jealousy towards our brothers and sisters and learn the spirit of forgiveness, love, and acceptance. For God always forgives our sins no matter how grave it is, thus we should do the same towards our neighbors. Forgiving others is the same as being faithful to the Lord. For whatever we do to others we do it to God. Look not to their failures or mistakes but look into their hearts. Never judge anyone in any circumstances for we will be held responsible in the Lord’s court. *Prayer* Father, I want to be righteous. I want to live my life in a way that reflects your love for the lost, your compassion for the broken, your passion for holiness, and your disdain for hypocrisy. I know that this holy life is not possible on my own, so please cleanse me and make me holy by the power of your Spirit. Please bring forth the righteous character of your Son in me. In Jesus' name, I pray. *Amen* .
