John 17:1_11a

 *Reflection* .
Jesus wants us to have eternal life and describes what that life is. To know God and to know Jesus. As we grow in the knowledge of God we begin to taste  eternal life Jesus promises. Jesus wanted the father to show some signs to his disciples even before his death, that God was with Him and that Jesus was following the way of God even  to the cross. Later, they would hear a voice from heaven Glorifying, the name of Jesus and giving security and hope to the disciples.
Jesus wants to draw us into his life to know God.

 *Let us pray* 
Father God, thank you for the brief view intimacy that exists between the father and son, thank you that you were Glorified through the chosen apostles as an example that all who are called and chosen may be used of you to Glorify your holy name.
