Mark 11:27-33

Reflection.
Jesus spoke openly to the disciples to help them to understand what he meant but was careful not always to become involved in refined argument. I take care to approach the word of God with reverence not looking for food for thought, not seeking a teaching for others but taking time to listen to Jesus who wants to converse with me.

Prayer.

Lord, Father of goodness and mercy, you have sent Your Son Jesus from heaven to reveal to us the authority and the sweetness of Your love. Send us Your Holy Spirit as He descended upon Christ at the baptism in the Jordan River.

Amen.
