Today's gospel 
Mark 12 v35-37

Here Jesus explains that the Messiah is much more than David's son.
He is talking about motives, intentions, and focus of the heart, "here sits thou at my right hand".

So, after the cross, death, and resurrection. He will reign with supreme power/authority. 

Let us pray.

God, please help us to speak in ways that are not careless, but in careful ways. Father God, we pray that our words will flow through a pure heart. We pray this through Christ Jesus.
