08.06.24 Mark 12:38-44 Reflection Jesus reminds us once again how we are to treat each other. We are all sons and daughters of the Father, and so we must be aware of the dignity each of us carry within. Through baptism, we have been brought into the family of God, and so we are all connected through grace. No one is greater than another, no one is more important than another. We are all equal in the sight of our Father in Heaven. Prayer Forgive me, Lord, when I am not a faithful steward of the resources you have entrusted to me. Thank you for the example of the widow and her “mites.” May she inspire me to give as I am able. Help me, Lord, to know what it means for me to give generously and sacrificially. Amen.
