Mark 15:4‐11

Reflection 

Pharisees saw Jesus eating with his disciples with unwashed hands. They were not happy about that.  He called the crowd and told them that it is not something that goes in your mouth that defiles them but it's something that comes out of their mouth. Our God wants our hearts, our undivided love, our undivided loyalty. He says Honour your father and mother that's God's command & there is a penalty for extreme disobedience to the commands.

Let us pray

Heavenly Father, search our hearts, we pray & root out any hypocrisy & legalism you find. Help us to keep the commandments you gave us. Help us to be kind to others. To build others rather than tearing them down. We ask all this in Jesus Christ name.
