10.03.25 Today's gospel. Matthew 25:31-46 According to Jesus, serving the least of His flock shows our love for Jesus. When the Son of Man will come in glory, seated on His throne, and the nations gathered before Him, He will separate the sheep from the goats. The sheep will be welcomed into eternal life since they served the least like; the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick, and imprisoned. The goats will be condemned since they failed to serve the least among His people. The righteous will be surprised to learn that serving the least of these was equivalent to serving Jesus Himself. While the wicked will be condemned for failing to recognize Jesus in the least of these. The righteous will inherit eternal life, while the wicked will be sent to eternal condemnation. Friends, by doing kind acts to others - compassion, kindness, and generosity, we're serving Jesus through them. As the song goes; *Whatsoever you do to the least of...that you do unto me* Let us pray Heavenly Father, help us to see Jesus in the least of sisters and brothers. May we serve them with compassion, kindness, and generosity. By so doing, showing our love for Jesus Christ Your Son. Amen.
