Today's Gospel 
Mathew 23:1‐12

The message of our gospel today teaches us to serve the people with humility and sincerity rather than with pride and self-promotion. Let our words be the living testimonies of Christ and these are humility, poverty, patience and obedience. We speak them when we show them to others.

Let us pray

Lord Jesus, fill us with your Holy Spirit and transform us into the Christ-like holiness you desire.
Teach us to be humble as you are humble and to love others generously with selfless service and kindness. Increase our zeal for your Kingdom and set us free from the authority of selfish pride and self-concern. Instill in us, O God your holy desire to live for your greater glory.
