Today's gospel 
Mathew 21 v 33 to 46.

In this parable, Jesus shows us the true Messiah, and He even quotes a verse from psalm118 v 22...relating to the cornerstone, which represents Jesus... as the builders reject the stone, so do the religious leaders reject Jesus. 
But we know that Jesus is the foundation of God's Kingdom and the dire warning is God's Kingdom will be taken away and given to those deserving of it. Let us strive to be the receivers of God's Kingdom.

Let us pray 

LORD, as we reflect on the vineyard parable, we can reflect on our own potential of Your Kingdom. Forgive us for not honoring your authority and neglecting the gifts you have given us. Help us to cultivate a heart of humility, teach us to be of service to you and your glory.
We pray.
