27.04.24 Today's gospel John 14:7 - 14. *Some comment* In this morning's text, Jesus responds to Phillip's question that Jesus should show the disciples His Father. Philip wanted Jesus to be specific, to point out His Father. Jesus responds saying that, " anyone who has seen me, has seen the Father." Jesus had been with the disciples for three years, they should have known that Jesus is in the Father and vice versa. Seeing Jesus is seeing the Father. Jesus gives further information, affirming the relationship with the Father, His words and deeds witnessed to that. Because the Two are One, whatever you ask through Jesus, you're asking the Father. Ask Jesus, ask the Father, whatever you need, you will receive. *Let us pray.* Thank you, Jesus Christ, for being our go-between us and God the Father. You make our requests easy to be granted since we ask in Your name, as You promised that You will grant us whatever we ask in Your name. Risen Lord, show us Yourself even with greater things. Amen.
