Today's gospel.
John 14:21-26

In this morning’s reading, one of the disciples asks Jesus why He does not reveal Himself to the whole world. Jesus replies and say that those who love Him and accept His commandments, will be loved and accepted by his Father in return. Those who do not love the Son will not obey His commands. This means that when the Father bestows the Holy Spirit upon us, we will know the Father’s plan for us and we need to be ready to obey Him.

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, remains with us and helps us to keep and understand better the words of Jesus in our lives. 

Loving God and doing what God wants is essential. We love the Lord by keeping God's word, and by doing what that Word indicates to us.

Lord, may Your Holy Spirit remain active in our life and encourage us to act as Jesus did. May we show love to each other daily.
