Today's Gospel 
John 6:30-35

Reflection 
Jesus is the bread of life, the bread which comes down from  heaven gives life to the world. Those challenging Jesus for a sign  have failed to recognize  what  He has done. Above all, they have failed to recognize that He is in Himself the sign. We too look for signs. Jesus is the Sign. Jesus is for us bread of life  nourishing and sustaining us daily. Thanks be to our God for the daily bread we receive.

Let us pray 

Lord Jesus Christ, you are the Bread of life. You alone  can satisfy the hunger in our hearts. May we always find in you the true Bread  from heaven,  the source of life  and nourishment we need to sustain us on our journey.
Amen.
