Today's gospel 
John 17 v11b - 19.

This is a prayer from Jesus to God. Here he is praying for his disciple's protection.
Jesus knows the tough ministry that he has left them to continue with.
A beautiful verse meaning to protect them from the evil one and to sanctify them by the truth.... because the word will hate them as they are not of the world anymore.
Sanctify means to set apart for an intended purpose. To do this one has to surrender fully to God and to be ready for any change God wishes to make in our lives.

Let us pray 

Lord Jesus, we thank you for your guidance. We thank you for your protection. We thank you for your friendship. Teach us to be your faithful followers that are sent in your name we pray
