Today's gospel 
John 16 v20-24.

This reading once again reminds the disciples and us that Christ had to suffer and die for the sins of the world. (Mark8 v31)
The days ahead will be especially dark and frightening for those who followed Jesus closely.
Yet the outcome will be very powerful and world-changing.
Jesus explains this using the analogy of childbirth...
Christ was speaking to those in the world today. Will come to a perfect understanding of GOD'S word and mission.


Let us pray.

Father God, we pray in earnest and righteousness to be able to produce wonderful results in your mighty name.
Thank you for hearing our prayers.
