Today gospel 
John 16 v12to20.

In this reading, Jesus is doing his final teaching before his departure.
We, as Christians, need to remember that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth.

The Spirit will not lead us incorrectly but will show us the correct way. 
These 3 sentences explain the Holy Spirit.
1) wise beyond wise.
2) fully loving.
3) always present. 

Finally, the role of the Son is to glorify the Father and the role of the Spirit is to glorify the Son.
Rely on the Holy Spirit for total guidance.

Let us pray. 

Father God, we pray that we may grow in love because we are created, redeemed and made holy by God's action and presence.
We pray for a spirit of generosity.
