Today's gospel 
John 6 v 52 to 59.

We will call this reading Spiritual Nourishment/  the body and blood of Christ. This breaking of bread and wine is our basis of our Christian belief to achieve eternal life. ( in Him and through him).So, this conversation that Jesus had took place in Capernaum where he was teaching in a synagogue. 
Summed up those who receive Jesus through the eucharist abide in him as he abides in them, just as he lives because of the father. 

Let us pray. 

LORD JESUS, we thank you for this gift of eternal life. We thank you for the emblems of your body and blood that we may celebrate being one in and with you. Help us to live in a way that reflects this new life that you have given us.
