Today's gospel 
Luke 4 v38 to 44

In this lesson Jesus sets the example that we must also follow. Jesus turns to GOD to know what He is supposed to do.

Let's consider if Jesus had stayed with the crowd the whole time, giving them all that He could and more. It would have consumed/used Him up. But Jesus in His wisdom understood this, and that is why He turned to God. He chose to consume GOD'S attention.

Let us pray 

Father God teaches us to handle stressful situations the way Jesus would. We thank You for Your love, grace, and ideas. Teach us to be humble, we pray.
