Today's Gospel 
John 8:51-59

Very truly I tell you who ever obeys my word will never see death. At this exclaimed the Jews now we know that you are demon possessed  Abraham died

Jesus said who ever obeys his word will never see death but the fact is that Jesus has the power over death. Jesus will confirm that when he is crucified then he will rise again from the dead 

Before Abraham was born I am the one ,Jesus claims to be God . The people will never be separated from God .

He's enemies failed to stone him he was invisible .

Let us pray

Lord give us the grace of speaking holy words that always give your glory and reflect the eternal truth live in our hearts. Help us to also be aware of the lies all around us in this world of sin.Lord Jesus please influence us daily to sit patiently at your feet and learn from you. Fill us your grace to be active members of your church the grace to witness in the midst of our world
