Today's gospel.
Mark 16:1-16

Traditionally the Eucharist is not celebrated this morning. So, this gospel text is for the Easter Vigil.

We recall how the women went to the tomb of Jesus very early in the morning, on that first day of the week, because they wanted to go and annointed His body. Praise God, they found that He had risen. 

May we have the zeal and faith of Mary of Magdala and Mary the mother of Jose's about the Risen Lord.

Lord, we look forward to the celebration of this special evening with You Risen and among us.
